Registered Architect David Baker brings a diverse background in construction, architecture, and interior architecture to Inventure Design. First earning a Bachelor in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, David went on to achieve a Master of Architecture from the University of Houston and has worked over 35 years in the industry. Since receiving his education, David has also been a visiting lecturer at several universities in the state, including his alma mater, Texas A&M.
David’s past roles and responsibilities have involved construction field superintendent, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, contract administration, and project management. David’s wide range of project types include: manufacturing, refining, and energy-related industrial facilities and infrastructure, mission critical installations and laboratories, healthcare and higher education, and corporate interiors.
“I really enjoy identifying what a client’s goals are for any particular design project,” David says. “I love working with the client to determine the best way to accomplish those goals while adhering to a budget and still finding creative, sustainable design solutions.“
