St. Mark’s Episcopal School engaged Inventure Design’s services to update their gymnasium and flex space. Inventure completed previous work for the school in 2015 on a new building and St. Mark’s wanted to incorporate the theme from that renovation. The 2015 design was heavily inspired by the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian, one of the pioneers of 20th century abstract art.
The project included new millwork in the flex space and concession stand, new finishes in the restrooms and locker rooms, and new flooring and bleachers in the gymnasium. The prevalent feature in the gymnasium is the St. Marks Episcopal School Lions emblem in the center of the new floor.
