When we were interviewed, PetroCosm had four employees and needed the design/build-out of a single floor. With a ten week completion date, the schedule was tight. Six weeks into the work, an additional floor was added with a connecting stair, a fully redundant data center with hurricane walls, a central plant, workout rooms and a control room. The schedule, however, was firm. By move-in, the company had expanded to 200 employees and the space accommodated the firm’s growth. Total elapsed time: twelve weeks.
The control room was set to monitor the state-of-the-art e-commerce site that PetroCosm was running. Air-conditioning and generator circuits provided an N-1 redundant server room that tied into the development environment.
